How to Human
Learning How to Human is hard. However, maintaining good health is actually quite simple. Yet most of us get it wrong.
What we should do is:
- Learn what diseases frequently kill or hurt us
- Screen for these diseases and their risk factors early
- Maximise the simple preventative health strategies to stop them early
What we don’t want to do is:
- Be ignorant of diseases
- Treat our bodies poorly when we are younger and in middle age
- Try to catch up aggressively once we have advanced disease
This just doesn’t work.
The goal is to prevent all diseases. Then become unwell for the first time at 98, and die suddenly at 100, happy and fulfilled
